CONTEXT
This training is part of UNESCO’s Support to Media in Jordan.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this call for application is to select 150 mid-career journalists to attend trainingson digital journalism.Specific topics on data journalism, cross media information, collection and verification of digital information and cyber protection will be proposed through fourtraining sessions, between February and March 2017.
PROGRAM
Each session is composed of 2 modules:
First module (5 days):
Topic #1 – Data journalism.information processing and visualization
Topic #2 – Crossmedia information. Multimedia production and interactive content
Second module (5 days):
Topic #3 – Collection and verification of digital information. Internet and social networks as journalistic tools
Topic #4 – Cyber protection
Candidates may choose modules they would like to attendwhen filling the online form. Applications will be considered on the basis of availabilities for each module.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
– Be a Jordan national or reside in Jordan
– Currently work as a journalist for a Jordanian media
– Justify at least 6 years of experience as a journalist
